ETRMA represents the regulatory and related interests of the European tyre and rubber manufacturers at both the European and international level. We are involved in continuous dialogue with EU and international institutions, national agencies and other industry sectors.
As the voice of tyre and rubber goods producers, our activities focus on representing, communicating and promoting the industry to policymakers, as well as providing technical advice for its members.
The European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers Association (ETRMA) represent nearly 4.400 companies in the EU, directly employing about 370.000 people. The global sales of ETRMA’s corporate members represent 70% of total global sales and 7 out of 10 world leaders in the sector are ETRMA Members[2]. The ETRMA have a strong manufacturing and research presence within the EU and candidate countries, with 93 tyre-producing plants and 17 R&D centres.

The BRV Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseur-Handwerk e.V. (German Tyre Retail and Vulcanisation Trade Association) is the professional association of German tyre trade and retreading acting on a nationwide level. With more than 2,010 member companies and their 3,500 shops, the association represents about 80 percent of the sector in Germany.
The BRV is an innovative and highly efficient partner: as a specialist in the field, it successfully positions tyre trade. In this context, the members’ interests are represented to the legislative body, the industry as well as consumer associations. A positive image is promoted by means of specific media relations, while the basis for action is coordinated within the sector.
Furthermore, the BRV provides its members with up-to-date information relevant for their business, helps them solve individual problems and develops a platform for communication and networking purposes. Another important task of the association is the organisation of future-proof trainings and vocational courses.
THE TIRE COLOGNE - The international trade fair for the tire industry. The next show takes place from 18 to 20 May 2021 in Cologne. It is a business trade fair and a trend trade fair, with engaging conference sessions and special events.
